On Visibility and Stepping Forward

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to participate in the launch of the Boss Babes campaign by Jules Morgan Photography.

The project celebrates the wisdom, strength and presence of professional women, and I felt honored to be included alongside many inspiring women.

Seeing myself on the cover of this edition was a slightly surreal moment. Not because of the photo itself, but because it invited me to reflect on something that often remains unspoken in professional life: visibility.

So often, especially in demanding roles, the focus is on doing the work well. Delivering. Supporting others. Moving things forward.

Visibility can feel secondary, or even uncomfortable.

And yet, at certain moments in a professional journey, stepping into visibility becomes part of growth. Not as a performance, but as a recognition of the path that has been taken.

Moments like this create a pause. A moment to acknowledge not only what has been achieved, but also how that journey has shaped us.

I’m grateful to Jules Morgan for creating such a thoughtful project, and to all the women who were part of this campaign.
